Surprisingly soft: Whilst it's a coated textile, Supreen feels good-it is supple and great for upholstery.
Suitable for bleach & inherently anti-microbial: Don't worry about using bleaches and other isopropyl alcohols. Supreen is very useful for healthcare institutions, or anywhere that requires stringent cleaning minus the toxins.
Environmentally-conscious: Nassimi's stain repellent technology embeds a unique silicon blend into the fibres for protection. This PFC and PFOA-free technology is better for your health and the environment.
Supreen marries cutting-edge woven and coated technology to create a unique liquid-barrier textile. The result is a hardworking upholstery fabric with a luxurious look and a fabulously supple hand. Most water repellent fabrics don’t breathe well. They also don’t feel great. Fabrics that are soft and squishy (think: cushions or seat pads) are so much better! Supreen is made using incredible technology. After weaving, the fabric is purified using ion exchange technology. The fabric then passes through a solution of dilute silicone where it binds to the purified fabric fibres. Finally, a very thin layer of polyurethane is bound to the base conferring strength.
