The Nongkrong collection is about coming together for a chat and snacks. Designed by Singgih S. Kartono and inspired by the old Javanese Hanacaraka script. On the Nong chair here you can see the long lines of the back and front legs flow together to form the backrest. This chair is wonderfully comfortable and perfect for sitting for long lengths of time

Paying homage to classic Javanese easy chairs from the '60's, the Jenki & Sedan chairs come either upholstered or with Santai's gorgeous densely woven rattan.  Their design was carefully refined by Singgth S. Kartono.

Surrender to the Javanese verandah lifestyle on a Santai bamboo Ngajeng easy chair.  Santai collaborated with designer Verra Fevrianti to bring a collection for balconies and interiors alike.  Crafted from gigantic bamboo species ‘petung’. the gigantic bamboo species it is not only highly sustainable but moderately elastic. This inspired the swing slats under the upholstery which add a comfy springiness to this seat and ottoman.
