Strand by strand the tough rattan fibres of Pangihot are woven and knotted to create this design. Made up of several striped elements: the top band, the central column and where they intersect. Select their dimensions and even the actual width of the panel up to one metre to fit your space. Small twinkling beads are woven into part of the pattern further embellish the intricate pattern.

There is beauty where the panels meet, the horizontal seam lines add interest to the wall and thus strengthen the design appeal. One’s eye stops at the join, then travels on to the next panel.

Gold raffia twinkles between dyed painted cotton and a thin string forms the warp, typical of ROA Tapis is fascinating and quite unique. Excellent when you require a good deal of texture.
