The lobby of ANZ Bank, Sylvia Park in Auckland, New Zealand. This stunning velvet curtain is a continuous image. The image is divided up and each part printed and sewn together in order.
The Ovolo Woolloomooloo is a hotel with many bedhead designs. Designed by Hassell Studio these bedheads become the focus in the room. Each panel would need to be printed with a bleed to ensure a continuous flow of the design across the bedhead.
To the right is a jacquard weave and to the left a printed version by Materialised whose dye sublimation process allows for subtle printing that doesn’t affect the fabric’s performance.

Studio 54 is a shiny dramatic metallised vinyl. Colours are vibrant and the paper seems to almost glow. Materialised have several based for wall coverings however this is the most exciting, and of course it is contract grade.
